UNIVERSE CAT

Universe Cat (also known as "Kame") is an female English/Spanish speaking Vtuber who debuted on 17 August 2021.
She is an artist, Live2D Rigger, and webcomic creator.

PROFILE

A cat girl who lives in the forest who encountered a mysterious black mirror. The sight she saw left a great impression on her but she forgot what it was. She now seeks to meet whoever, or whatever, it was she saw.

PERSONALITY

Known for her chatty yet introverted nature, she often gets inspired and delves into a wide range of topics during her streams. At times, the topics she suddenly recalls can be rather deep.
She enjoys drawing and Live2D rigging and is more than happy to answer any questions from curious viewers.
Kame enjoys bringing up references to random videos she has seen online and very rarely does her chat know what she's talking about.

HISTORY

Background

Kame's twitter account was created in 2015 and was primarily for posting artwork.On 6 November 2016, Kame posted her first one-shot webcomic "Crowded", setting off a future of webcomic creation.While Kame had tried learning Live2D a few years prior, in 2019 she finally began to devote herself to learning the creation of Live2D models.In 2020, Kame created the VTuber persona Miel, who she was originally going to debut as. While she did not debut as Miel, a debut stream was later done for Miel. Kame occasional posts and streams as Miel.Debut

On 7 August 2021, Kame posted a debut teaser featuring original art and animation.^x
Kame debuted on 17 August 2021 after prepping for the stream for two months.2021

On 5 October, Kame revealed her first model costume titled "UNI SP". It was a witch themed model that was used for the month of October.On 27 October, Kame attempted to stream the game Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry for Halloween. It was not until an hour into the stream that she realized the stream was not moving and she had failed to record it. She continued the stream but switched to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky in order to "cope".On 1 November, Kame reached 100 followers on Twitch.On various days in December, Kame brought up the idea of hosting a small Splatoon 2 tourney with a custom Splatoon 2 Live2D model as the prize.2022
On 18 January, Kame hosted a small Splatoon 2 tourney titled "Silly Splat Tourney" At the end of the tourney, it was revealed that all participants would receive a full colored illustration of their Splatoon character as thanks from Kame. The 1st place winner received a Live2D model created by Kame of their Splatoon character.On 8 February, Kame reached 200 followers on Twitch.On 7 April, Kame reached 300 followers on Twitch.On 9 May, Kame participated in her first collaboration with Pon.On 16 August, Kame celebrated her first anniversary as a VTuber with a new pajama outfit for her model.On 26 August, Kame reached 400 followers on Twitch.On 12 September, Kame streamed ASMR for the first time.2023

On April 14, Kame revealed her April Fool's model "UNI Meow" in a stream where she only meowed, including meowing the theme song of the Sanrio character Cinnamoroll.On August 11, Kame revealed a 3D swimsuit model as well as the opening of their online merch store for their 3rd year streaming anniversary.In September, Kame started her ASMR channel.On October 20, Kame reached 1,000 Followers on Twitch.2025On April 1st, Kame debuted her UNI Nui model for April Fool's.On August 17, Kame debuted her new main model "UNI 5" as well as announced new merchandise in collaboration with Hovercat.

Kame is a lover of catboys and catgirls.
She refers to animal ears as "mimis", which is derived from the Japanese word for ears (耳 mimi).
She is a lover of strawberries and strawberry flavored/scented goods.
She has expressed more than once the desire to try an expensive white strawberry from Japan.
Kame refers to 'karaoke' as 'yoke' (pronounced 'yo-key')
Her name, 'Kame', means 'turtle' in Japanese. Despite this, she is a cat.
She has a habit of saying 'urple' instead of saying 'purple
There is a running bit amongst Kame's chat that her skin tone is purple.
This is disproven when looking at the hexcode of her model's skin (#FDDBF9) but this has not stopped chat from insisting she is purple.
Kame has a hiccup counter in chat that chat can update every time she hiccups on stream. The counter has been totaled and noted at the end of the year in the past.
Kame enjoys Tiktoks of people's Roblox characters dancing to music, notably Tiktok user peeepants.
Her chat does not understand this interest.
Kame created a visual novel titled Miel's Matchmaking in 2022 for a special Halloween stream. It only had one finished route and has yet to be publicly released.
Kame is a webcomic creator with multiple released webcomics. While those are currently updated irregularly, she will occasionally posts small daily life comics under the tag #MeowMeowDiary on Twitter.
She has phases where she will play games such as Tetris, 2048, 'Watermelon Game', Tangrams, and Sudoku before bed, resulting in her falling asleep midgame.

Meow Meows can be any type of creature but are commonly depicted as cats. Generally, all Meow Meows have animal ears and tails.

Bell Duo

The Bell Duo consists of two members, Theo and Ker. Both are individuals sent by "The Lady of the Bell" to help those on earth. They fufill this task by acting as online idols that create a variety of content such as fortune telling, match making, and variety programs.
They are featured in Kame's webcomic Late Night at the Convenience Store as the main character's favorite idols.
The Bell Duo act as Kame's Twitch bot and moderators on stream.

Other half of the Bell Duo group. A somewhat unsociable devil catboy who works alongside Theo as idols online.

Nini and Uni

Kame's cats Nini and Uni.
Uni is Kame's first cat and is a regular cat (for the most part).
Nini was a cat that showed up after Kame's encounter with the mirror.
For whatever reason, Kame can understand their speech.
Both cats appear in Kame's stream transition stinger and Just Chatting screen.

A cat that showed up to Kame's home and stuck around after her encounter with the mirror.
Nini (pronounced Knee-Knee/にに) is not a normal cat and is composed of an ink-like substance with multicolored patches on her back and her ears. Despite this, she acts like a normal cat.
She meows very often and loudly.

Uni

Kame's first cat. He is rather quiet and prefers to sleep more than anything. He's not particularly affectionate unless you show him food.
His name 'Uni' actually predates Kame's title of universecat and it is purely a coincidence that she is referred to as "UNI"

UNI-FORMS

UNI is a creature who is able to manipulate a mysterious ink. Ever since the appearance of the mirror, UNI has been observed changing into various forms with this ink. This behavior was not previously observed.

UNI

NOTES ABOUT UNI

UNI isn't exactly their name. It's closer to a specimen classification.
Their proper name is Kame but UNI is easier for people to say.
UNI has the power to manipulate a mysterious ink and is able to create creatures and forms from it.
Like most cats, they spend most of the day sleeping and are most active later in the day.
